Today, while cutting a field marrowಸಾಂಬಾರ್ ಸೌತೆ/ ಮೊಗೆ ಕಾಯಿ/ ಮಗ್ಗೆ(in konkani) , I stumbled upon a fascinating surprise - viviparous germination! Some seeds had sprouted inside, and I couldn't resist giving them a new lease on life.
I planted them in a pot on my balcony, and now they're thriving. This is part of my little project where I nurture plants in my balcony garden and later replant them at our Teerthahalli farmland.
My farm, now is bursting with an assortment of goodies: chaote, chillies, hakkariki soppu (Indian rocket leaves), ridge gourd, ivy gourd, and more! There's something special about watching these plants grow and flourish.
Gardening is not just a hobby; it's a way to connect with nature and experience the joy of nurturing life.
