SOLITUDE & me

Yesterday was a lovely me-time treat! While the girls took him to see 'Kantara', a movie he'd been wanting to watch,

a quick stir fry using palak and methi greens from my bakcony garden

I indulged in some solo activities. I opened all the windows and balcony doors, letting in the fresh air and sunshine I tended to my plants, enjoyed some music, watched my favorite shows, and even baked a bread

this was all that was left for me..girls enjoyed the bread immensely. (whole wheat bread)

As a nature lover, I thrive on sunlight, breeze, and the elements. However, due to his health issues, we often have to compromise. During our hospital visits, he's always bundled up and prefers the windows closed and the AC off. This has taken a toll on me, and I've lost a couple of kilos. Feeling cooped up isn't my thing, but I'm grateful for small joys.

Yesterday was a breather, and I'm thankful the girls could take him out.  🙏🙏
