Kashaya/ ಕಷಾಯ
I prepare many types of kashaya/ ಕಷಾಯ this is one of them. in water boil jaggery and then add crushed pepper corns, coriander seeds followed by ginger, tulsi leaves and doddapatre leaves. when the concoction reduces into half the quantity, add milk and serve.
for people with sweetness/sugar issues, skip jaggery , add a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon.
good for the present wet and cool weather.
you can add pepper as per.your tolerance for heat/ಖಾರ
