My brother just left for work , and his baby is asleep so i thought i will quickly upload some pictures. My brother is not letting me access the net.Sorry to all of you who have sent me mails/sms and some have even called but i have not answered anyone except one or two. Just checked my gmail inbox and it is overflowing with mails. i am not in the mood to read them as yet! i really do not know when the day begins and the day ends my hands are quite full looking after baby Vidisha- yes we named the baby Vidisha , She is 18 days old today.( the moment we are born we start growing old naa? one day OLD, 10 days OLD, 100 years OLD etc)and my ill father who also has to be cared for like a baby. Father is on the slow road to recovery so i must say i am happy spending time with my family and loved ones, though i miss my Srikanth and daughters sometimes-yes. sometimes. Malavika is holding the fort at home.:-) :-)
Me and amma wake up at 4 am and first finish all the cooking . After that our whole universe revolves round the baby. I enjoy gazing at her lovely countenance making a myriad of facial expressions in her deep slumber and can gaze at her for hours at an end. Malathi is totally immersed in her deep dimpled cheeks.

sweet baby photo by Niha
her hands and mine and i prophesied that she is going to be an artist as well as a dancer.
Mihika with her long hair. Need at least half an hour to comb and plait her hair. so therapeutic. love this job of styling her hair and she loves me doing it. She says 'Malathi akka you do my hair so nicely and painlessly
sweetie pie aka Samidha Pai who answers to my sammy/samsung...:-) isn't she pretty as a picture in pink. To distract her from disturbing the baby i have to constantly device new ways of keeping her engaged during the weekends. On weekdays she is off to school from 8.15 am to 11.50 am.
Sammy's art : can easily give Van Gogh, Matisse etc a run for their money LOL
My favorite
An Hibiscus in My mommee's balcony garden
Me getting loban ( an aromatic resin)ready for the baby after her bath
i use coconut kernels for the 'loban'
Naming ceremony: Vidisha, Sreelaxmi, Swara (name chosen by Niha) Ahana (name chosen by Sammy), Trisha (name chosen by Mihika) the five names accorded during the cradle ceremony
ajjee giving her the oil massage. She speaks marathi. So enjoy chitchatting with her. She visits four households a day to give oil massage to babies and their mother.
i said smile please and she gives me this beatific lopsided smile
She enjoys the warmth emanating from the smoke in this chilly /rainy weather
me and Vidisha. So Malathi is fine and happy and not gone missing. She is enjoying the company of the latest addition to her brother Pandu's family, that's all. This post is for the benefit of all of u that missed me :-) :-)Also my good friends Divya and Sandeep Kamath are now the proud parents of a baby girl. Congrats guys. love you
(most of the pictures are by me which you might have already guessed )
