Dhanushkodi - land's end

From Bangalore, we halted at Madurai, enroute to kodaikanal. We visited the temple in the evening. It was very crowded and darshan was slowed down because an ex-minister was visiting. We could not see the deity, but we did see the face of the minister — they had put a light in the car that reflected only on his face, like a halo. I was quite amused by the scene and the throng of paparazzi around him. His vehicle had nine escort vehicles.
Many tourist places in Madurai were closed the following day to celebrate Thevar Jayanthi, so we had to quickly change plans and visit Dhanushkodi instead, thanks to Ajay.

what a beautiful blue  colour. They say Srilanka is just 23 minutes away by sea.  was imagining a evening ride on the train on pamban bridge.

Madurai : stay at TTDC...
