Park and walks

"

I used to be a nocturnal wanderer, often waking up at odd hours to take long walks in the nearby park, even at 1 or 2 am. It was my go-to sanctuary during panic attacks. I'd rouse the security guards (who are human too, despite their job requirements!) to open the massive gates. The Anand Bhavan's bright backlight would illuminate the otherwise dark lane, and I'd join the other night owls who walked alongside me. Our park was open 24/7, and I felt safe, even without my phone.

The honorary president of our organization IDF, was mugged and hit on the head and had a terrible head injury. This did not scare me either 🤔🤔

But times changed. Our once-well-lit garden grew dim, and the tiles became treacherous. I've seen many take a tumble, including an elderly gentleman who fell and  His nose was half split and bleeding profusely. we rushed to his aid,  he got a bit disoriented/flustered and could not recall any name or number of family members. He did not have a cell phone with him either.someone offered him.water. he kept repeating he stayed close by... and he was eventually taken home by two kind strangers. And just the other day, a young girl tripped and scraped her knees and elbows while running in the park

Now, I prefer to sit in my balcony, sipping tea, and waiting for sunrise. I'm not afraid of the dark or the world; I'm only afraid of falling and hurting myself. Hopefully, the ongoing renovations will fix those pesky tiles, and I can resume my nocturnal strolls." 🙂🙂

There are tiny signboards put up in the park
