Bangalore is HOT.
Not hot as in 'hot and happening' what with the cricket season going on, but hot as in summer, ಬಿಸಿಲು, ಸೆಕೆ, ಬೆವರು, whatever.
this is how i keep my cool.

here is a glass of watermelon juice for you
Water melon sliced- seeds removed, squeeze a lemon, add some sugar, run in a blender and juice is ತಯ್ಯಾರ್. if needed refrigerate. i dont.
Cocum Juice
just add dried rind (ಸಿಪ್ಪೆ) of cocum fruits about 5 to a big glass of water. the water turns pink. after half an hour strain the juice add sugar/jaggery (ಬೆಲ್ಲ) and cocum juice is ರೆಡ್ಡಿ. Dont forget to add a pinch of salt for that superb tangy taste.
Musk melon juice ಕೂಡ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಹಾಲು ಸೇರಿಸಿ milk shake ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. add cardamom if needed. sorry no Photo available. ಯಾಕಂದ್ರೆ ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ (post)ಬರೆಯುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಸ್ಕ್ ಮೆಲೊನ್ ಮಿಲ್ಕ್ ಶೇಕ್ ಖಾಲಿ.
but ಬೇಜಾರು ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಳ್ಳೋದು ಬೇಡ ಅಂತ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು wikipedia ದಿಂದ ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
